How do you process?

I haven't been creating a ton of art lately but I have been processing. How do you process? Do you dream about your work? Do you sketch, when you should be listening to math? Do you just go for it? Tell me how you approach your art, what works for you. To see some of the process work I have been doing lately on my blog spot.

Shout out for Lindsay who got me motivate to update my blog!

What does this picture have to do with my process? see Ms. McBrides blog

Don't miss out!

Students who have work in the show: Amanda Harris, Taylor Huck, Ellen Robinette, Sarah Bartell, Madison Cuneo and Haley Flora. Good luck and congrats!

For Shizzle

There are some amazing zoo pictures on the shared folder for all of you to use in your concentrations. Don't forget. Next week, Friday the 27th is the next critique.

Jackson took some awesome pictures!

If you haven't registered online for AP yet make sure you see me tomorrow in class. It's remarkably easy to do. I'm excited about having the work be digital this year.

30 AP images you have to see!

Just for fun, check this out...

http://apcentral.collegeboard.com/apc/public/courses/teachers_corner/190457.html

These are the 30 pieces of art that are traveling around the country representing AP Art Studio students. They were chosen from 31,000 portfolios. Two of them are from Lakeridge! Fancy that.

Receive a Dum Dum from Ms. McB if you go to this site and then make a comment on this blog describing and responding to one of the 30 images. Just do it!

Busy Week

We've got a busy week ahead of us!

Tuesday we are going on a field trip to the zoo. You will need to bring a camera with you to take pictures to use in your concentration. I'll have a handout with information for you when we go.

Wednesday is a life drawing session. 5 -7 pm, you know the drill. $5.00 to pay for the models, food and materials.

Wednesday the Oregon College of Art and Craft will be coming to the school to look at our artwork for the up coming high school show at OCAC. If you have something that you would like to include let me know.

We will be registering with the AP website in order to upload our images on line. I've never done this before, should be fun and an adventure to figure out.

Fun times. Ms. McB
